What is a DSAR or Subject Access Request?
A Data Subject Access Request (DSAR), also called a Subject Access Request (SAR), is a request from an individual for the personal information an organisation holds about them under the UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Redaktr helps you detect and redact third-party personal information and other sensitive details before disclosure, within statutory timescales. If you need extra capacity, we also offer done-for-you SAR processing.
Are redactions secure and permanent?
Yes. Redaktr applies true, irreversible redaction: the redacted content is removed from the output entirely, with no reversible redactions and no hidden metadata left behind.
How is my data protected?
Case containers are held on encrypted volumes on dedicated infrastructure in Helsinki, and all access to the platform is over HTTPS.
