We price by case – not by the number of documents or pages – because that’s how disclosure work actually happens.

In short: Redaktr redaction software pricing is billed by the case rather than by the document or page. A single DSAR, SAR, FOI request or disclosure matter is £500 Ex VAT per three calendar months, and that includes data conversion and loading, unlimited documents, up to 40GB of storage and up to 5 users. Optional video redaction is available as a £100 add-on, and bespoke packages can be arranged for frequent heavy users. £500 Ex VAT per case, per 3 months*

Each case includes:

• One secure case container
• Data conversion and loading
• Up to 40GB of storage
• Unlimited documents within the case (up to 40GB)

*A case runs for up to three calendar months from the date the case is created. Additional months can be added where a matter remains active. Does not include video redaction. All prices exclusive of VAT.

Regular user pricing

£3,000 per annum

Up to 2 active cases at any one time, max of 10 cases per year. Each case includes:

• One secure container per case
• Data conversion and loading
• Up to 40GB of storage per case
• Unlimited documents within a case (up to 40GB)
• Up to 5 users included
• Full access to document redaction, review, and audit features

Video Redaction Add-on

£100 Ex VAT per case, per 3 months*

Add-on includes:

• Add-on to a standard document case
• Allows the loading, redaction, and rendering of video clips
• Up to a maximum of 1 hour of video, extra video at £50/hour or part hour
• Not available separately

*The add-on runs for the same period as the case it is attached to. All prices exclusive of VAT.

How does Redaktr pricing work?

Redaktr is priced by the case, not by the document or page. Each case is £500 Ex VAT for three months and includes one secure case container, data conversion and loading, up to 40GB of storage, unlimited documents and up to 5 users, with full access to redaction, review and audit features.

What counts as a case?

A case is one DSAR, SAR, FOI request or legal matter. It runs for three calendar months from the date the case is created, and additional months can be added while the matter remains active.

What is included in the price?

Every case includes a secure container for all related documents, data conversion and loading, unlimited documents with no per-file charges, full redaction and review tools, and a complete audit trail so you can evidence your process. See the features page for the full list.

Is data conversion and loading included?

Yes. Data conversion and loading is included with every case, on the standard per-case price and on the regular user plan alike. There is no separate set-up charge.

What happens to my data when a case is completed?

Once a case is completed it remains on the system, inactive, for up to 90 days, so that material is still available to you if the disclosure is queried or revisited shortly afterwards. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any point, and we will confirm the deletion in writing.

Can I redact video?

Yes. Video redaction is an optional add-on at £100 Ex VAT per case, per three months, covering up to one hour of video, with extra video at £50 per hour or part hour. It is added to a standard document case and is not available separately.

What if my matter runs longer than 3 months or needs more users?

Additional calendar months are £350 each, additional users are £50 per user per three months, and extra storage is £10 per 5GB per month. All prices are exclusive of VAT.

How do I get a quote or a custom plan?

For most DSAR, SAR, FOI and disclosure work the standard per-case pricing applies, so there is no need to wait for a quote. Frequent users can request a bespoke package – contact us or book a demo to discuss your requirements.
